Since its creation in 2002, La Nuit Blanche has become one of the most exciting parisian events of the fall. For its third participation, Soundwalk will be featuring the event as an associated project. On this occasion, the Soundwalk collective will take its sound installation Ulysses’ Syndrome to another level, with a live performance on October 2nd, in the Jardins du Trocadéro.
On this very special night, Soundwalk will be showcasing its installation alongside Ghost Track, an exciting sonic and visual performance by sound artist duo Radiomentale.

This week, Soundwalk’s upcoming Parisperformance of Ulysses Syndrome at La Nuit Blanche is covered in prestigious french weekly magazine Le Point’s nightlife online guide ! In an article entitled “Sound odyssey till the end of night” (“Odyssée sonore jusqu’au bout de la nuit”), journalist Marie Audran invites the parisian public to join in the sonic experience that will take place in the Jardins du Trocadéro, this saturday, October 2nd.
Soundwalk’s live tour continues next week in Naples, where the Soundwalk collective will be showcasing Ulysses’ Syndrome at the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Donna Regina - MADRE -, on wednesday, September 29th. The sound piece will be presented as a live performance which will mark the beginning of Gabriele Giugni’s underwater photo exhibition on Ulysses’ Syndrome.
The exhibition will be shown at MADRE for three weeks, from September 29th to October 18th.

Tsugi magazine, a french electronic music and culture publication recently reviewed the evolution of sound walks and audio tours in an article entitled “Quand la musique fait le trottoir”, written by french journalist Jean-Yves Leloup. The article, which reviews the new practices and uses of audio tours and analyses the most recent initiatives in the field of urban sound discovery, features an interview of Soundwalk founder Stephan Crasneanscki.

Soundwalk is happy to announce the launching of Ulysses’ Syndrome live tour this thursday, September 16th, at the Frying Pan inNew York. Originally designed as a sound installation and audio art piece, Ulysses’ Syndrome will in fact be presented live, in the form of a sound and visual performance featuring members of the Soundwalk collective. This live version of Ulysses’ Syndrome will be travelling to Paris, Naples, Milano and Nice.
