In “Someone I Loved,” Florence Loiret-Caille plays a distraught daughter-in-law of an aging businessman whose son has abandoned her. In this emotionally complex, romantic melodrama based on Amanda Galvana’s novel of the same name, the aging businessman, Pierre, falls in love with a woman 20 years his junior and regrets the decision not to leave his own family for her, the way his son would do years later.
“Someone I Loved” premiered in L.A.’s City of Lights, City of Angels festival on April 20th, 2 weeks before its release date of May 6th in France and Belgium.
Florence Loiret-Caille worked with Soundwalk on a Parisian soundwalk in her native neighborhood of Belleville. Check out the Belleville Soundwalk or read more on “Someone I Loved” here.
